Frequenty Asked Questions 1. What is the Rock N' Rib Fest? Outdoor event featuring barbecue rib restaurants, caterers & compettive barbecue cooking teams serving great ribs along with beergarten, live classic rock music, kids zone and pyrotecnic show at the end of the night 2. What are the en are event hours? 1 pm to 9pm 3. Is it a free event? Yes event is free and open to the public 4. Is this event is 21 and up? No it all ages event but you must be 21 to drink alcohol. Alcohol can be consumed only inside McCray's Tavern beergarten area. 5. Where is festival held? On the Square in Downtown Lawrenceville 6. How do get there? Click here for directions 7. Where can we park? Parking deck at 162 E. Crogan St. & Parking lot at corner of Culver St. & Pike St. Click here for map 8. How much are ribs? Food for the event is based on ticket system similar to a food festival. The goal of the event is for particpants to sample ribs from all the vendors. Tickets are $3 each and good for 2 barbecue ribs or a sandwich or a plate or 2 sides. Ex: 2 tickets could be redeemed for 4 ribs or 2 ribs and 2 sides. 1 ticket is the minimum order at each rib booth. You can buy tickets in packs at the two booths located at the festival on Crogran & Perry St. Look for the blue tents! 9. Can we buy other food besides ribs. Yes, Burgers, chicken sandwiches and some kids food will be available at McCray's Tavern food court area on Perry St. 10. Will we be able to buy anything to drink? Yes Water, Soft Drinks, Sports Drinks, Beer & wine will be sold at the event. Beer & wine is only available at McCray's Tavern beergarten. Beer cannot be consumed outside this area. 11. Can we bring chairs & blankets? Yes 12. What will the kids area feature? 22' Screamer Slide, Moonwalk, Climb, Slide Combo (3 in 1), Orbitron, Clowns doing magic & face painting, Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Popcorn - ALL FREE 13. Are pets allowed? Yes 14. What time is the rib eating contest? 2:45pm - Rib Eating Contest Please email us at contest@usaentertainment.net to sign up for contest. Deadline for email signup is 10am Friday morning. After that please sign up that day at one of the 2 food & beverage ticket booths located on Perry or Crogran street. Look for the blue tents! There is no cost for entering the food eating contest. The contest will be on the left side of the music stage so please be ready 15 minutes before contests.
